bluey ph1 chammy has a fuel pump that is whinning its tits off,i thought it was located in the tank, under boot carpet(black rubber bung)
went to gsf, they said its out of tank,i looked underneath the car but could not find it,
its in the tank, you need to drop the tank to get at it or cut the boot floor, you'll probably find the inlet sock covered in crap thats why its whining, probably knacked by now though
btw just in case, the 9 inch cuting disc and plasma comments are in jest! Although if you go through with it then get someone to video the procedings!
BTW the worst bit is the bolts on the tank, the 2 back ones you can get a nut back into place easy enough, the front ones are another matter
Use a small screwdriver or pick to clean the rust off best you can from the threads and dose with plenty of plusgas/rost of ice or similar then work the bolts back and forth to get them out.
Then preferably new bolts and copper grease for re-assembly.
