Where to buy Orbisoud Exhaust?

I am doing a group buy and if i can get 8 people i can get it for £860 delivered. Now thats not bad for probably the best exhaust for the V6.

Its a matter of opinion what its worth and too me and many others its worth every penny 8)

£860 is much, much better but still a lot of wedge for just a backbox. My full system won't be much more than that and that'll be custom :)

I'd consider looking into picking it up from the factory because it only takes one courier numpty to see a nice big ding in a perfect new bacbox...

A Tubi, Kressieg or Capristo will/can cost 3-7k...there is a market for it. Although to the elite by all accounts.

I'm happy with my £300 crappy K-tec! :)

Yea i see where your coming from. I have looked down the custom route but scared as to what it may sound like, i would rather go the tried and tested route lol :)

Totally true but then those are usually attached to bazillion pound motors where cost isn't a concern of the owner!!!

For just a backbox I'd defo stick with the main players but for a full/half system I'd go custom. You've got much more control over the finished noise both in terms of quality and in terms of decibels. I'm a bit nervous as my supersports was designed to accentuate the standard set-up. I'm hoping by changing that standard set-up the car doesn't sound like a maccy-d's special!!!

Good luck with the group buy by the way :approve:

^ Mr negative these days arn't you.

The Orbisoud is a stunning piece of kit. It's worth what it's worth, simple as that! Some people would consider painting a V6 a different colour a waste of money.

Who would build a high-quality system for £1500 out of curiousity? I'd be interested in that.

Taking after you to be fair then Ali ;)

Just pointing out the blatently obvious if i'm honest. The fact of the mater is, 1200 euro's of stainless pipe, material and labour doesn't go anywhere near into making a SILENCER regardless of where you buy it from. Don't get me wrong, I would't put anyone down for buying one as like you quite rightly pointed out, its up to the owner how happy they are to use their money.
The fact of the matter is, 1400 quids worth of paint and labour did go on to mine and other peoples cars, yet unless your clueless or have never watched a good engine builder/exhaust manufacturer at work, its damn obviouse they aren't worth that much. Thats my opinion.

That'll be the only road v6 with a genuine Trophy rear box.. fully de-cat. Bill Patchall

Thats the real Mc Coy there. It isn't fully decated though Shaun. Its fitted with sport cats either side of the silencer.

The noise off it is unreal.. wouldnt mind mine sounding like that haha. So has it got any cat's removed? Whats the chances of getting a custmo exhaust to sound like this?

Very fair if you want to spend around £1500. The exhaust set up Orbisoud tried and tested on the Trophies actually mean it merges both banks of the v6 into one. They then split off into two sports/race cats.

so this is made by orbisoud? i would love my car to sound like this one.. going to see about a custom exhaust this saturday. what would you recommend? full decat? or will it not pass mot? or just decat collector box? what can i do to get the best sound like this and still be legal for mot?

Hmmmm, thats all down to your personal choice fella. Full decat is pretty damn noisy for a road car and like you have already said "may" pose a risk with the local MOT station unless you have a very friendly one.

Yea i know what u mean.. I think i will just go for a collector box decat, would i be able to get the pops and bangs like this exhaust if i done that?

Most probably yeah. Pretty much all the aftermarket exhausts crackle and pop, just not so much or as big as the decated type.

Something like the backbox of harry's car

Two banks merged into one pipe (at the back) then split to two cats into the silencer
