Wheel refurb for the Audi

Hi All,

I am looking to buy another set of wheels to hold my winter tyres. The sensible thing is to get some steelies, but I know they'll look shite on my new Audi A5 :-)

There are various sets I'm looking at on eBay and I'm pondering whether I should buy a set already in good nick, or pick up some kerbed wheels and refurb them myself.

Can anyone advise how much it costs to get wheels refurbed?

I've never done it before so I have no idea how much to expect.

Cheers,
Phil.

£200 to £300 for a full refurb Phil.

DIY job will cost you up to £60 once you have bought all the tackle and then this depends on your skills of how they come out BUT saying that if you are handy and take your time you can get much enjoyment out of a diy refurb and admire your finish at a good price.

Think mine came in at about £450 but that's for full strip, baked to remove any moisture, powder coated, baked again and think they then clear coated but not too sure.
