Theres no question about it......Shauns car sounded the nuts! It's by far the best sounding vee I've heard. Ok, Mr Patchalls car might sound abit better but its not like you can get hold of one of those very easily.

My Quicksilver OMG will be coming off in the not too distant future for one that looks very very VERY similar to one of the Trophies at Mas du Clos.

I DIDNT QUITE HEAR THAT! WHAT???? :rofl: Most conversations must be like that but hey you gotta try it. I only drive the vee once a week so it should be alright! I do have ear plugs as well for my Tiesto gigs so I am well prepared lol!

Nothing prepares you for the noise of an OMG! Honestly, go out with a car fitted with one. If you just potter along on Motorway etc its probably the worst exhaust you can get. If you stick your foot down alot its probably the opposite.

Nothing prepares you for the noise of an OMG! Honestly, go out with a car fitted with one. If you just potter along on Motorway etc its probably the worst exhaust you can get. If you stick your foot down alot its probably the opposite.

I've been down the QS route. IMO they look fab, and sound better around town and for the odd blast, but are a pain for long distances (unless you get a bulkhead).

Also remember sports cats / decats with a less restrictive manifold could gain you some power / torque in the mid range (from experience), but no extra top end power. A back box will just look and sound better.

However sports cats / decats will light the engine warning light (although not initiate limp mode)

Plus if you fancy a track day a really loud zorst will seriously limit your options. Worth considering.

Orbisoud do the backbox for 915 euros about 800 quid give or take a little.
They make the renault sport series exhausts.
Not boomy in the car at all and a great noise coupled with decats.

As nice as they are Matt, thats a HUGE ammount of money for a silencer. Also like Peter quite rightly pointed out, the silencer do nothing as far as power is concerned either.
