Megane W33SLP megane r26

First the clutch,
It a bit late for you now, but it will be of helpful advice for anyone in the future, it is best to purge the slave (CCS) first by gently filling it with brake fluid before fitting then once the box is refitted and everything is connected in the bleeding position, use a full syringe with a piece of clear pipe attached & pump the syringe about 10-15 times this will purge most of the air from the system then proceed with a vacuum/pressure bleed keeping a very close eye on the level.
When satisfied, lock the system off & leave for 10 minutes then pump the pedal rapidly 20-30 times or until a decent pedal is felt. Repeat if necessary.
This last bit it what you may need to do now.

Airbag, this will need to be connected some diag equipment before anyone can determine what the cause is, but a couple of suggestions are side airbag circuit as the seats have been changed or the column switch gear rotary unit

Cheers red, we did use a syringe to fill the slave before the gearbox was fitted again. Also pressure bled the system afterwards, sounds like it's just the last bit we need to do now.

As for the airbag light I've worked out the problem, pretensioner on the drivers seat has been set off also, just need to take the seat out again so I can swap it over. You can see the difference between the 2 buckles in the picture

Been a little while since I updated this. Just a couple little things to add to the blog.

New tyres fitted to the rs 19" wheels, another set of Michelin pilot super sports, these are the best tyres I've had on the megane for road driving, can't believe how good they are in the wet also.

Rear strut brace, made by Chris Slater, not sure if he is on this forum. It's a fantastic fit, took a bit of manoeuvring to get it fitted while putting it through the carpet at the same time but it's in, best bit I like about this brace is that the rear seats still fit :)

Forge clamps, ever since I fitted my bov about 3 year ago, I snapped the air absorption pipe while fitting and replaced it, I thought these would be a good idea, God knows why it took me so long to do this haha.

And lastly, these stickers for the keyfob from a French website, it was Papps that showed me this at first, since then I think loads of people have got them now.

This is the second set of PSS I've had, they are fantastic. In the past I've had PS2's, PS3's, Toyo proxies and Dunlop sport maxx. The PSS definitely give the best grip when it's dry, and they are great for n the wet also.

Not really pushed the Meg since fitting the rear brace, hopefully get a chance this weekend to do it :)

Forgot to add, I've got a big box of parts waiting to be fitted. Freshen the front end up a bit.
