Well I’m back with another thread hopefully there’s more progress with this one than the last…
Some back story then in 2022 I attended a meet up with some fellow TR members at the motorist where I laid eyes on Big Roy’s Ultra red R26, dare I say it was love at first sight
I decided against buying the car due to other project commitments at the time which almost a year later got sold on along with the associated bits and the R26 landed on the drive…
First time I saw the car, notice the carbon wrapped accents
A few months later and another motorist meet up with members (car still not in my ownership at this point)

Several months passed with not much happening in terms of work done or changes made until I had decided to de-chav the car removing the faux carbon wrap from the filler cap and throwing the diamond badge covers in the bin where they belong
My first proper outing in the car unfortunately was for Moggy’s funeral, Rest easy mate truly one in a million and if I’m honest one of a handful of people that got me into meganes
(No pictures of the cars from the day)
A few months later and a replacement bonnet popped up near brands hatch which was collected and fitted the next day
Next up was sorting the aircon or lack of, suspected damaged condenser so a genuine Valeo replacement was ordered from auto doc
New condenser on the car and the not so good looking old one
Now we’re up to date with current progress I’ll update this thread as things develop
