Saw you drive up past the Tesco Express garage.... I was in a Silver 182 and flashed you.

Car looked stunning!

True Roy, hadn't put 2 and 2 together.

On another point, your Sporster CS seats...did you buy 'em fresh from Recaro or were they out of a 197/200?

Ben

Fresh from Recaro Ben, worth every penny.

I had an appointment to view an Illiad vee at WSSC a couple of years ago, I ended up falling out with the guy over the state of the vee, he was an obnoxious tw*t, hopefully they have improved over the years.

Can you remember his name? Fairly youngish lad with clearly a fair bit of family money???

Had the same experience, I went to look at the Black Gold one which turned out to have been pranged in its history (but not Cat C or D).

Was a struggle just to get a test drive!!!!

Thats sounds like him, tall with a skin tight shirt on and had a beaded neclace on if I remember.
I turned up in my 182 for a possible trade in and a friend of mine took his Impreza P1 along for a valuation, they seemed surprised to see us despite arranging an appointment and numerous emails.
The vee was absolutely filthy, covered in dust, cobwebs and scratches, he tried blaming it on a nearby field, when he realised I was fast losing interest he snapped his fingers at an old guy to jet wash the vee, I said not to bother as I wouldn't even be test driving it. The cherry on the cake was when he started slagging off cars from Scotland, saying they were all rust buckets, I then informed him I was Scottish and promptly left.

LOL ^ love that!

Well the Illiad Blue on i saw yesterday was one that i actually went to look at a couple of months ago and i have to say that it was really very tidy.... a couple of minor marks but nothing major or worth worrying about. It looked extremely clean yesterday.

But agreed on the above, they werent very friendly towards me and when i actually got round to asking them about the service history, previous owners etc the guy just didnt seem to care. Customer service is everything, and what would worry me about buying a car from them is how they would deal with a problem should the car breakdown once you have bought it!
