Yes, been there with the old "I was a customer but now I consider you a friend" situation.

That lead to my MK2 Escort going in for a 2 week full respray and coming out the other end 6 months later..............that was after I decided to go in and do most of the donkey work myself !

My project was expected to be finished in 2 years and I finished it in 6-1/2 years.

More to do with waiting for people to complete work than me............so I'm right with you on this one.

So just to update thread..

Late last year I took in this project of a the rolling shell remains of this car.

It’s been a struggle but it’s now getting there and will be on the road this summer...

I will probably start another thread.
