Yes very rich, wasn't very pleasant running the car indoors , I'd say it was very close the our carb which idled @ 10.5
For a base map, car starting first time and idling perfectly at 1000rpm, getting up to temperature.
A good effort by scoff......well pleased.
Tempted to take the laptop next time and have a play but I don't have a good record with computers, always losing stuff!!!!

When you plug the computer in, and the WARI loads the map file up, go File>Save As, then save the .ecu file as you would any document. I keep mine in and [Adaptronic\ecu files] folder and name the files with a backwards date and a comment of the tweaks i've made (backwards date means it always orders newest to oldest). You can do this as many times as you like. I work in system design, analytics and data migrations so I like to have the ability to review and roll back changes
"MOT Test" is a great example, cos I load that map file in and I know my idle emissions will be <0.5% CO for example, although reviewing upwards I know if I use that file again i'll have to remember to apply the "New WG" change that sits above it too.



If you tweak and feck something up and can't put it right or forget what you did, go to File>Open and select your saved file and in about ten seconds or so it'll import and overwrite your ECU settings back to what they were when you took the backup. If you make a change and it improves it, save a copy, then carry on. These files are TINY so you can save as many as you want (and delete useless ones later). I think a full.ecu file is half the size of an EMPTY Microsoft Excel .xlsx spreadsheet.

To add to @DaveL485 I would suggest if your settings are mission critical you back up the files to a USB pen and a cloud based storage. I use google drive , and use the google drive sync tool to automagically sync my files just in case.

If you can before you go racing , screen off the area to the left of the intercooler. Air will act like water and always go for the line of least resistance. You want it hitting the cooler / rad.

Big sheet of plastic cut to size and fixed somewhere will do.

Looks cracking though !

Will be ducting all around the radiator and cooler once we get her set up.

No tweekes on mine as always been cable tied in
Just the lugs on the back would need cutting off I think.

Was a long day mate. didn't get home till 4am.
500 miles round trip, was a long day!!

We left home 9am and arrived at EFI parts 2-30pm with some dreadful traffic on the M6.
Chris started to do his thing and car wouldn't start, turned out to be low voltage on battery something ECU's don't like.
Idle was the next issue, didn't know there was an idle screw on the throttle body which you cant get to unless you reverse the screw which chris luckily knew about.
I also didn't realise I needed to put the one way valve onto the inlet as there was a large barbed already there.
So two open holes didn't help idling either. DOH!!
Car would fit onto rollers as bottoming out with the 13's, luckily Chris has a Clio, so we took switched fronts and now we have some 16's on and ready to go.
Chris Started to work his magic and soon had massive spikes with the VNT to 30psi and bent a couple pushrods. External wastegate plumbed in and VNT in control with a 21psi spring.
So boost set to 21psi and made 200bhp with 197lbft@4700rpm, full boost by 3500 and could come in sooner if we wanted.
Called it a day and left EFI 11pm and arrived home 4am.

Chris@ EFI parts is a top man a highly recommended.

Looking forward to seeing how the new torquey engine performs on the track.

Not too shabby Dave, I know you where expecting more, but still a good figure - Fluff felt great at 180 bhp, but a bit out of control @ 220bhp
