Just had mine refurbed for £280, finish as good but paid an extra £80 for new Renault centres as some toss pot had glued the last ones in !!!!!!!!!

that was in the Chester, Cheshire area but will find out who did them if anyone in the area is intrested.
I left my car at a friends Garage and just asked him to get on with it while I was abroad on Business, it was a full tyres off and rebalance etc in the price of about £350

Great write up and service there Wayne! The wheels look very well done indeed!!

For anyone from the South, I had mine done using the same, or very similar process by a company recommended by Scott at SG Motors. I've had wheels refurbished before with varying degrees of success, so I was VERY specific with the finish I wanted for the Lunar.. They had to be indistinguishable from the OEM wheels. I'd used Scott to maintain my previous v6, so he knew how picky I was but he was confident I'd not be disappointed with the finish. So, while the car was there having other work done, I gave him the green light to proceed. It was also handy that he has a spare set of wheels he could use so the car didn't have to be left immobile on axel stands while my wheels were away. He was right... I was not disappointed, the work and finish was exceptional!! The colour match was re-affirmed last year at WSR, as I was parked next to Yorky's 'Best of Show' winning, 4k miles on the clock, show room condition, Mars Red 255. They even fooled Old Wayne as he went around looking for people's refurb'd wheels and generally picking fault as only he knows how LOL.
It's probably worth mentioning at this point too, that ph1 vee's have a different paint code to Ph2's! The silver is a reasonably bit duller and less sparkly than that of a ph2.

Has anybody used The Wheel Specialist branch in Edmonton, North London?

If so what was the quality of their workmanhip like?

I had given the wheels of a Porsche but when I went to collect them today I was told that they were closed to new business. It would not have been an issue if the refurb (a complete strip, paint, lacquer and wax) was done properly but the lacquer had not been put on properly (i.e. there were signs of "overspray" in certain parts). Note that this was the second time they had to strip the wheels. The first time around they had put the wrong colour on the outer lip of the wheels - I asked for Speed Yellow, and the colour used was much lighter and looked washed out.

I have been promised that they will finish the job to my satisfaction before they shut shop. I have already dropped a message to their Head Office. Will call them up on Monday as well.

So this is just to inform everybody that The Wheel Specialist in North London has (or is about to) shut shop.

No idea who carried out the work, as odd as that sounds, you'll have to speak to Scott. The cost was £75.00 a rim at the time.. getting on for 2 years ago now! Still look spot on too!
