I can confirm that the finish on these wheels is flawless and a very close finish to oem :approve:

this is their hi power silver?

"Power Silver" is indeed the finish. They had an older colour that had power in the name but it was a different shade

its probably going to be the newcastle branch i will use, so if there is any problems i will get them to ring your contact at the nottingham branch and confirm :)

I went for High Power Silver.

Immaculate!

Seems a touch on the pricey side, the going rate where I'm from is about 50 - 60 quid a wheel for full refurb, but having said that they look awsome and you couldn't possibly get a better finish than that.

I suppose you get what you pay for :)

Really depends where mate. Up north they seem to think they can change an arm and a leg. Most 18/19in wheels looking at 300-400 and not including getting tyres off! The logistics of sending wheels away and jacking car up doesn't work when you live in a flat! :(

There are a few good companies locally for me, I'd be inclined to leave the car there till it's done. I think I'll leave the alloys to the last on my to do list tho :)

I used Chris at Exel wheels. Comes to your home to collect the wheels (i.e. takes them off the car if needed) and supplies replacement wheels for the duration of the process. In the price range you quoted Ali as well. Wheel finish was perfect. Chris is big in the Porsche world and his reputation/results precede him.

Wow that's class, what a good idea giving you replacmements as well. where's he based. If he's prepared to do that in the Teeside region think I'll give him a call :)

Assume thats local tho?! Also wheels to fit a vee!! oofftt!

Nope. Although he's based in the South he tends to bunch a few Northern/Scottish clients together during his regular trips up to the badlands.

I didn't need the loaner wheels as he was refurbing some ph2 wheels that weren't on the car but he said it wouldn't be a problem if I needed them. Absolute top bloke as well. :approve:
