That Time Of Year

My renewal was going to be around £730 up from £675 last year, this was with brokers Sky Insurance (policy is with Highway).

I tried Elephant who came in at £717 which reduced to £621.60 when I put my mum as a named driver !

Finally I tried my home insurance broker QuotelineDirect, and they came in at £572.00 (this includes £30 of legal and personal accident cover) - which I can remove if required.

Of course there are slightly different excesses with the above but the policy is essentially 5k annual miles, locked in garage, social and communting etc. Oh and the seats declared as a modification.

It pays to shop around though and call your current insurer back as they have agreed to a price match but are now looking to get the number down below the £540.00 mark - fingers crossed ;-)

Don't think I would let any woman drive my Vee let let alone her ;-) Martin

If my other half had a Vee, he'd have no choice in the matter...what's his is mine and Vice-versa  ...unless of course it was "MY" Vee...he wouldn't get the keys come hell or high water..!!

BTW...A woman's view/thought process is always right of course too...!! :D :D

I renewed my insurance in March with Noel Dazely, they were by far the cheapest for me [smilie=cool.gif] - could be worth a try [smilie=question.gif]

Finally settled with Sky Insurance again ;-)

Despite a quote for £434 from Europa via Direct Choice (with no extras), David at Sky was able to come down to £501 all in. So I decided to go with that due to the customer service and duel policy benefits etc.
