Do we need to meet up before heading for beaulieu?
If so

Shaun what about the pub we stopped in last year? :)

Hey Alan, yes... meet up before, as last year. But I thought we met at your work gaff. Do you mean the pub we went to after? If so... that'd certainly be a closer option to Bealieu. Good shout!

Yh my work place has had a car park facelift, its no longer ideal for a vee, the 'the royal oak' where we went to after 2 min from Beaulieu is probably a better option :approve: unless we get the club area ;)

Happy to go with the club area but if we arrive together maybe not required, open to either club area or not :)

Sounds good Alan..

Meeting point:

The Royal Oak
Hilltop,
Beaulieu,
Hampshire
SO42 7YR

Time: 08.45 so we can leave for entry shortly after 09.00.

The gates open at 09.30, but they've not confirmed our own area yet, so we need to assume it'll be the same set up as last year... parking in order of entry through the gate, so we need to arrive all together to stand a chance of parking together.

As per usual, up for meeting up with others for the trip down.. What are peoples preferences, M3.. or cross country. M3 from Fleet will take approximately 1hr.

Duncan.? Couzens?

:race:

Think theres a group going from Bracknell off CS.

Have you organised a stand or is it first come first served with parking?

Cross country far more exciting. Although immature drag races with the CS boys on the M3 would provide plenty of entertainment :race:

.. or cross country.

Lets meet on the way, with or without the CS lot is fine by me. Do love a convoy.

Would much prefer cross country over motorway, however the M3 might be the simplist route for people to meet along? Fleet services?

Aye, I'll be bimbling down the M3.

Still don't trust the car 100% around the bends yet!

I don't mind driving it if your having difficulties dude.. Always happy to help a friend out! :approve:

Fleet sounds good as a meet point. I am doing half a lap of the M25 to pick up ginger goblin from st albans so wherever is easier for everyone else is cool as I can head to any meet point. Be nice to see a ph1 and ph2 mars together I dont think I have seen that before.

I join the M25 at J14 (Heathrow) and was planning to take the M3, so would be happy to meet up en route.

However, a cross country jaunt to the venue would be a great choice......

I think we ought to be there for 7.40, leave at 7.45 at the latest.. Things always take longer when there's a group. That and I've not yet heard back regarding our own space, it'd be prudent to get there en-mass as early as possible. Park up, and then chill out. :)

I'll also be coming down via the M25/M3. Shall we meet at the Fleet M3 services for 7:45 allowing an hour to get to the Royal Oak? Here's the Google maps route from the services (GU51 1AA) to the Royal Oak (SO42 7YR) - LINK

Once at Fleet, I might even try one of those Mac Muffin's I've seen heavily advertised recently.

I guess I've left it a little late to order my Beaulieu ticket on-line, so will purchase at the gate.

Nice one Danny.. I still feel we ought to leave Fleet as close to 7.45 as possible, dont you? So if you plan on stuffing a Mc Muffin or 2, you'd better get there even earlier! lol

Dont worry about a ticket, I'll be getting one at the gate too. They're the same price, so didnt see the point in wasting their money sending one out in the post.

Also, how do you feel about hooking up with Dawn as you'll both be coming from Wycombe?

I have just txt'ed her and we'll be coming down together in a mini convoy. Should be at Fleet around 7:30 for a stretch and cheeky snack for breakfast.

Fantastic... :approve:

I have just received confirmation Beaulieu's event co-ordinator, that we have been set aside, a club specific area.. on hard standing.

8)

He's on the understanding we'll be showing twice as many v6's as last year, which is about right if everyone on the list turns up. Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday... It's been a long Winter!
