I think a good place to meet before is at exbury gardens it's literally just down the road (5 min) from beaulieu with a nice strip of road, the forest car parks are not in great condition :(

Hi Alan, thanks for posting that.. :approve: The post code takes you to the actual gardens where parking looks to be at a premium, there's looks to be a large car par just before the Gardens, heading South, would this be the place you are referring to?

That will be the forest car park just before you get to exbury gardens where you could lose a wheel in some of those holes lol the parking at exbury gardens is not a prob I work there if we all meet in the coach car park it's fine they don't open til 10 anyway :)

Thanks Alan.. brilliant :approve: Exbury Gardens it is then!!

Fresh tea and coffee from the staff room on arrival.?

No worries Shaun, I'm afraid the staff room is nowhere near the car park have to use our Imagination for the drinks lol :)

Is this where we're planning on meeting then? What time? Entrance to Beaulieu grounds is from 9:30am apparently and if the car park doesn't open till 10am...

I think what Alan meant was that the gardens didn't open until 10.00. Therefor, there'll be no-one else there wanting to use the car park when we're there, as we'd be long gone by 10.00

How about we aim to be at Exbury Garden car park at 08.45...

To confirm, the post code is SO45 1AZ

Looking forward to seeing you all.. :) :race:

I'll be there but I'll only take the Vee if the weather looks like improving.
Not sure what time as I'm picking up someone on-route.

Will your time depend on how long it takes you to find someone 'to pick up'? ;)

See you there Andy.. :approve:

I'm not sure how strong the latest batch of rohipnol is.... [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
(yes it's a sick joke and I apologise!)

Looks like the weathjer down there on sunday could be OK (showers but mainly dry).
but i think the parking field could be a bit of a bog..

Still going to make the trip... for ever hopeful that the weather will hold out. The forecast is still fine with scattered showers.. Meeting up with Mulgari for the drive down! :race:

Unfortunately will have to give this a miss - weather doesn't look great over here either, with heavy rain expected just when I have to set off......

A real shame indeed as I was looking forward to the drive down, the show/venue and a bit of a blast afterwards, but it doesn't seem like the weather is going to play ball on Sunday.

Haven't had a chance to drive the Vee since Bromley! [smilie=icon_cry.gif]
