Just got back. Fantastic day [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]
And..........the weather was bloody amazing. Sun all day although I'm now a nice shade of lobster pink.
Word of the day was 'pillock'. Moment of the day was the nearly missed moment of parade glory. Event of the day was stumbling across a BG resprayed in an odd yellow and all trying to squint through the window to see the plaque number!!
Had a really great day out at Beaulieu's Simply French. For their first event for French cars it was particularly successful I thought. Great to see everyone again.. thanks for coming along and making it the day it was. :salut:
I sure this will be a permanent fixture to add to our calendar for 2013 and forth-coming years.
I think next year, possibly a short drive out for an early evening pub meal. That would round the day off perfectly! :race:
Must say when I woke up at the time I should have done to make the meet it was pretty miserable and raining heavily, but it did clear up nicely towards the afternoon. Oh well.....until next year.......
Shaun, a drive afterwards and a pub meal sounds great........
yeh it was from Exbury last year Shaun, the Vee stole the show!! :race:

Yeh it was a really good day and entertaining especially the angry bloke on the mic being a liitle annoyed with Nas, still not sure how Nas pulled it off with getting 3 sorry a parade lap in
no cleaning next year lol
The drive and a meal sounds a good way to round it off next year :approve: looking forward to it!
That was Graham Robson who worked with Stuart Turner at BMC sports department in the winning days of the mini cooper (before Turner moved to frod for the escort years).
He's written many motoring books and pretty much always been derogatory about french cars, but I guess being paid by beaulieu changed his attitude for a day
