Get the dates in your diary - Silverstone Classic 2016 will be held on 29th, 30th and 31st July.

NB: Please ignore the ticket prices quoted in the above. As noted in the PDF file attached in my first post, we have already been allocated our own Car Club Display (C&BCD) package, which includes the following: 2 adult admission tickets & a vehicle display pass from only £42

Please put the dates (29th, 30th and 31st July 2016) in your diary - the aim is to get as many Vees as possible, both Phases 1 & 2, and make the v6Clio.net display area as colourful as possible.

If you are looking to attend, and we do encourage as many owners to do so, please add your name to the 'Attendee List'. Please feel free to raise any questions or discuss the event in the thread reserved for 'General chat about Silverstone Classic 2016'.

I am sure this event is going to be as good as, or even better than, past events. Hope to see as many of you as possible, especially all new members and those who haven't been to this event - this is a superb chance to show off your Vees. Some photos from previous events are shown below:

Just over a month to go before all tickets are withdrawn on 31st May - tickets cannot be purchased at the gate on the day of the event.

If anybody, who is a member of multiple car clubs, and wishes to bring a different car on each day of the event please get in touch with me and I will see what can be done. The USP here is that you can take advantage of the Discount Code offered to one car club to cover multiple days, but bring a different car on each day, and park up at the relevant club on the day. This is by special arrangement only, so if you intend to do this please PM me, or call on 07974 143595.

Now that there are quite a few of us who own more than one Vee, if you wish to bring a different Vee on each day of the event then, when purchasing your tickets, please make sure you log the correct registration number against the day you intend to bring a particular Vee. If you have already booked, and wish to change the registration number of your Vee then please use this Vehicle Registration Form.

I know the following does not apply to the Vee, but for those who have a car and a story to tell, and fancy having a natter with Mike Brewer in front of the camera, then please see the following:
"Mike Brewer will be back again on stage during Sunday of the event, 31st July, to talk all things classic car. We are looking for both restored and to be restored cars to represent the wide range on display. If you have a suitably chatty member of your club who also owns a good example of a tidy classic car, please ask them to contact Neil Carr-Jones ([email protected]) by Friday 29th April with details of the car, how long in their ownership, summary of actual or planned restoration and a photo. "
