Over the past couple of years we attended Silverstone Classic, Club Alpine Renault were invited to join up with us to display their cars (A310/A610/GTA) alongside our Vees. In 2019 Club Alpine Renault are celebrating their 30th Anniversary.
It is customary for all clubs (or cars) celebrating an anniversary to have a parade lap around the F1 Grand Prix Circuit (remember our parade lap in 2015). To this end we have asked the organisers whether ALL cars in our display area are able to take part in a parade lap. The answer was "Yes", but we need to have at least 25 cars in our display area. Of course, we would like to have more Vees than Alpines, but, as a matter of courtesy, the Alpines will be asked to lead the pack. As such, the purpose of this poll is to gauge your views with regards to this arrangement, so please cast your vote.
All I can say is that, having attended two parade laps at two separate Silverstone Classic events, one rather large (Porsche 911's 50th anniversary, which had over 1,000 911's, which were 500 too many!) and one small (Clio V6's 15th anniversary, albeit it rained on the day!), it is rather fun and certainly adds to the whole atmosphere.
