Scotland Drive - July 19th

Good to see you are up and running Simon. :salut:

Have fun all, and hope the weather plays ball on Sunday. Do post up pictures and videos of the run......

GoPro charged, fitted and ready to go! The weather looks marginal but should be dry, scenery and roads we are going on will more than make up for it!!
You should have come up to join in Dulan :approve:

Was looking forward too seeing a Lunar! Gutted!

Gutted too Ben, sorry. Other commitments have had to take priority.. [smilie=icon_cry.gif]

Hope you all have a great time.. I WILL get up there one year!!

I peeled away after lunch - great day out and was good to catch up with some familiar faces whilst meeting a few new clubs member also.

Weather was mixed but did not dampen the enjoyment. It's been a while but I forgot how much fun and what a sight it is to see a convoy of Vee's hooning about the countryside. Great selection of roads including a very smooth section before lunch which it appears we had all to ourselves :race:

Well done to Simon & Ali for pulling this run together - top job and all to easy to foget the effort involved [smilie=thanks.gif]

My day by numbers:

6.45 - time my alarm woke me up!
202.5 - miles travelled
8 - gallons of fuel used
25.3 - mpg
41.8 - average speed for the day
10 - marks out of 10 for a great day out!

I saw a few cameras so proper pics will be along soon but here's an iPhone snap for now, taken at the lunch stop:
