Wheels aside, they're ready but still no tyres. I've put them to one side and will deal with them in good time as there was the small matter of the Cliosport Festival 17 with Turborenault in attendance.
Major prep work required! A quick 2 bucket wash, I mean it's a relatively new car so what's to check! Plenty of tread on the tyres, the AC is cold, crash helmet and drivers licence in the car, Bitburgers in the boot... Done!
Being the Friday we thought we set of in good time to clear most of the bank holiday traffic, fail! Busy on the M25, getting on the M11, slow moving up towards the A14 with the roadworks with the only clear run on the 4 lane A1M. An earlier crash near Grantham slowed us down so we hit Gainsborough for ice and beer around 5pm. We turned up at the Tesco to greeted by another LY 200 EDC!

Supplies packed we headed up to Blyton Park, it was safe to say that this was well deserved after the 5 and a half hour drive!
We made our introductions, headed back to Blyton to get a Chinese takeaway then tucked into both the Chinese and Bitburgers for the evening catching up on news with plenty of banter until around midnight where we called it a night.
Friday is done, we're at Blyton, and I'm looking forward to getting on track on the Saturday.
