5 GT Turbo Renault 5 campus.....for summer boostings

Nope, on brigsys advice I've not fitted the swirl pot so that pipe work is redundant, I'll make sure it's bled very well though

Cheers buddy, it's far from mint, just clean Id say. I'm just taking my time with things, Im trying to make sure it all works first time so I can have lots of fun without to many issues

Mrs has a friend over, more tinker time yay! No pics from this evenings activities so far but front end of the cars fuel pipeing has been completed. Once the brakes and front suspension are on I can then work on the rear end and fuel pump (y)

I want to mount the aei in the scuttle, is there a ph2 specific bracket for it that holds it there?

Was doing some pressure testing on the lines today, realised this had filled the carb bowl so time for first start, and it did it with a strange ease!

What do you mean? Fuel goes in the back of the pump, out the front. er...what else do you need to know lol

The pic is for it for its location though I've now just slapped it in place, good to see the routing of pipes and such

Out of interest should I wire the fuel pump direct to an ignition feed or use the tacho output from the aei to drive a relay? I'm not sure but is that how it works on the gtt?

I wired in the original fuel pump relay on the van. Was pretty easy just tacho feed - live earth etc - cant remember exactly how it is wired in now after 7 years though lol

i dont have the original relay, i wonder if i can just use a standard type relay and still use the tacho as the switch wire to activate it... or i could just add a relay using a switched ignition feed, probably the easiest way to sort it as i think the oem gtt relay some how ties in with oil pressure too.

relay ordered (y)

also i should be picking up a side exit tomorrow, 2.25 inch but im sure itll be fine for my low power setup (y)

Mrs was about off colour today, so I took some time out of work to help out..... They rested and I got time to work on the car, can't waste the time away from work can I?

Exhaust collected and fitted up, needs some modification as it pokes out a fair bit. Would be less of an issue on a gtt with side skirts fitted. Also fitted one last pipe to the fuel system so that's ready for wiring up now too. Slowly getting closer to being able to drive it.
