5 GT Turbo Renault 5 campus.....for summer boostings

i can add a couple of inches and still be under the arches, the ones on there are about 4 inches wide

been slacking a little on the 5 with a new job and the little one en route, but got the bumpers back off ready for paint. Some lowering springs for the front, i will fit them up to the stock shocks for now as a temp solution untill i decide what suspension setup to go with then drop the back to match. image.webp image.webp

the back is quite clean, few little bubbles coming up on the mounting points so will treat them before putting it back on. Any one know if the panel on the rear is ment to be black? or has it had some work done in the past?

Big delivery today, the main bits. Hopefully everything I need to get it into the campus from @mike wilson few extras in there too, enlarged turbo elbow and some silicone boost hoses modified carb.

As some of you may know I had a delivery of a different kind last Thursday, a little boy called Jenson so work here might be a little slower.

I had a pallet off parts like that last week lol , glad it got there safely , ment to say check the flywheel as being one of my engines it prob had a lightned flywheel and a Volvo clutch

Fannytastic look forward to seeing the end result of boostings, and congratulations on the little one :yes3.gif: potential first car for the kid?

cheers buddy, probably not, i go through my cars way to fast to hold on to this one for 18 years lol.

just got a little further with feed time upon us yet again, water drained, and rad and pipework out. i forgot how little there is to a 5, with some dry weather and a spare few of hours this will be out with the new one on its way back in. quietly confident i can get it done this coming weekend bar the fuel setup

So I managed to find an hour spare this eve, few more bits done in prep for the swap, front suspension out, hib nuts loose and front engine mounts loose along with the shifter. Just need to pop out the driveshafts, exhaust rear engine mount and wiring loom and it should lift out. Fingers crossed this bank holiday weekend (said this at the last one) I can get the lumps swapped out.

I'll then need to plumb in the fuel side of things while waiting for the one peice downpipe and sorting out the basics. 6 weeks till FCS 15 if I make it there in this car it will be a miracle! If not there it will make it to retro rides.
