21 Turbo renault 21 turbo dump valve

right so ive recently bought a wonderful 21 turbo. the car came with a baileys trumpet dump valve however its not working. we have tried the d/v on another car and it works fine. the d/v is located on the take off pipe between the 2 intercoolers and the vac has been taken from one of the vacs on the plenum on the inlet. I have found that it might work once vary rarely. I hope someone can shed some light on this as its driving me up the wall. thanks guys

It should be from the manifold below the throttle body. Use the port on the manifold next to where the fuel reg takes its vacuun feed.

yes that's where it is at the moment mate. we've later found that the actuator bolt that secures it to the side of the turbo was missing and the actuator was extremely loose. since I've bolted it back together we now have some form of dump valve. just bought a tophat with a take off for the dump valve so going to refit the original valve and the dv up to the inlet
