For Sale Renault 21 Diesel for sale

1.9 Non-turbo. Burgundy. Photos to follow. I want £350 for it.
One family owned from new before I bought it a few months ago. 137,000 miles. Very solid bodywork. I have known this car for over 10 years
Runs well but seems to overheat a little bit at high speed (but only over 70mph). Heater a bit feeble - maybe could do with a new heater matrix. I don't think it leaks, but it might just be a bit blocked. Have flushed it a couple of times.
New radiator
New water T-piece
New water pump supplied
New timing belt kit supplied
Has fresh oil and coolant in it
Sunroof doesn't work - sealed to prevent leaks and wind noise
Don't think the original radio works but an ISO radio will fit straight away
Drives very nicely indeed! Runs on veg oil very nicely - I have tried it! Would suit someone for a winter classic or cheap runaround while your other cars are being fixed.
I will be putting it on eBay shortly

Chris - let me know if you are in any way interested. Not to put any pressure on but I want to list it on the 'bay tomorrow. I can always remove it if necessary!
I drove it today and it doesn't seem to overheat - another flush of the cooling system has improved the heater (a bit) and seems to have made the temperature more stable. The sunroof is actually not yet sealed (was planning to do it) - but that could be a job for the purchaser? It's broken as it's the one from my Quadra, which was broken when I bought it. The passenger door mirror is broken but a good used one is supplied with the car. New wiper blades and new air filter also supplied.
The tailgate central locking solenoid is removed as it doesn't work, but the tailgate can be unlocked and locked using the key.
Always starts very easily (if you let the glowplugs do their job and don't try starting it immediately)!
Oh and it crossed over to 138,000 miles ;-)
I can be contacted on 07789 764017

Awesome - no worries - just let me know. I'd even bring it to you if you'd drive me back in it (maybe with the kids too)!
By the way, I have got the correct wheel trims for it to replace those awful abominations as fitted.

No. Buyer pulled out because his wife had bid on it as a surprise for him and he didn't want it (apparently)!!!

Now got some guy trying to buy it for 150 even though he offered me 250 for it while the auction was ongoing!

Have done a second chance thing for the next highest bidder.

Ah, the delights of selling cars on eBay!

Ah the old 'blame the wife' sketch. My dog sometimes bids on ebay while I'm not looking. Gets me into all sorts of trouble.

I could take it if you don't mind waiting but would just be for bits? Prefer to leave it whole of course but if you are struggling

Very funny! I have a guinea pig like that! I'm convinced she gets up to all sorts of mischief when we are not around.

I did believe the guy as he's a real Renault nut with a couple of 25's and such.

Thanks for the offer. It would be a shame to break it as it's a really solid car. I spent quite a bit of time commissioning it too. And money. Which I will never see again!!!

Never mind. I had fun.

I will let you know if I become interested in your offer.

If you're thinking of buying it for spares for the Quadra you might want to reconsider as the cross compatibility would be limited. Like, panel wise you're probably talking bonnet and front doors, engine bay and interior just as little. Literally just switches, heater blower, stuff like that. The Turbo models are quite far removed and the Quadra even more so as the whole floorpan is different behind the bulkhead.

I was thinking of the interior mainly tbh & maybe some of the front end you mention. I need to have a chat with Craig R as he mentioned he's collected some bits

Put the 13 inch rims on it too, with the naff wheel trims, nosecone, headlights and bumper. Remove back spoiler... Now that's a sleeper!
