Renault 19 1.9 TurboD

Hey guys.

Here's my presentation.

My name is João, I'm from Portugal, i'm mechanic, i'm living in france for a while, so, here's my Renault 19 1.9 dT. He's from 1993, imported from France, not by me, its just a coincidence.

Bought it about 3 years ago, with a broken engine, now it has a engine identical as the original, wich is a 1.9 Turbo diesel engine with 93cv, used also on Volvo V40/S40 (wich this engine came from), Mitsubishi carisma, Megane 1, etc.

It as 16v leather seats, lowered koni sport suspension, eletric sun roof, power steering, central locking, 15 inch wheels, 16v bumpers, leather steering wheel, 16v gear knob and gaiter, and some other things that i'm missing right now.

For those who may ask, it has done 850km with only one stop for fuel, coffee and check levels from portugal to france with no worries.

This engine has now sort of 300.000km. Maintenance as it should be, only elf lubricants and oil changes each 15.000km.

Sorry for some mistake on my english, but as i did say above, i'm Portuguese.

Also bought some stickers from the forum, and i'll post photos when I put them on.

I have had 2 of these cars in the past as a daily driver - very reliable and simple to maintain! I upgraded to a Volvo S60 as my family got bigger though.

This is my black one after someone ran in to the back of it at a junction.
