A body shop near me that is excellent.

Where ever you take the shell agree a time scale to be done by, and baring any major issues beyond their control penalize them an pre agreed amount for every week they over run or defect noted at time of collection to be deducted from the final invoice.
That will make them get things done in reasonable manner.

This is an excellent idea.

One of my cars just returned from the bodyshop, I dropped it off at the start of FEBRUARY. Never again... I shall heed this advice!

So I nipped over to @Haz -torations today and am pleased to announce that the fecking sh1tbag 11 will be heading over there for its respray in coming weeks!

Now I've just got to figure out how that's going to be realised.. :bc:

Went over to Melton Mowbray this morning with @jas_racing to get the 11 Turbo buttoned up ready for it's transport to a bodyshop that is bothered about doing it and was surprised to find that they'd painted the outside in primer since I told them I was going to take it away?! There was only one poor lad working there today but he told me that the boss wants to discuss the work already done to the car before I take it away.. so assume that to mean he's going to be trying to hit me up for some money for it sitting there having feck all done to it for all those months... Can see this ending with a face to face discussion..

Anyway, with the help of the body-shops 2 post lift, putting the car back on it's axles was a breeze!!
