You'll wish you'd come when you see the pics and here the stories.. ;) ;)

Please have a re think bud..

I'm 100% committed to this but just echoing what Iain has said in that i am just rechecking everything and changing my hotel bookings.

Also i have no printer at home so saving the forms and printing them off tomorrow at work.

Don't panic Mark, a cheque will be in the post tomorrow/Wednesday for the Saturday night hotel and static Mas du Clos event.

Im gonna have to read the whole lot again, changing lots by the looks of it. 90% attending just now.

The only change from the original itinary is the chance to stay at the hotel on Saturday night with the V6 Passion guys and girls. Its a lot more expensive than the other hotel but does include food. The cheaper option is still to stay in Bourges and travel down to Mas du clos in the morning.
The whole trip has been designed to be flexible, pick and chose the parts you want to do and how long you stay. Nothing to stop anyone driving down on Saturday and staying in either hotel and doing the Mas du clos event only.
I understand the for you, iain, its an event and a lot of expense in itself just to get to eurotunnel! Would be great if you could still make it.

Im still planning on going I just need to understand exactly what needs booking when and where!

Assume you are doing the full trip (ie out Friday back Tuesday) if not just cut out the parts and book alternatives accordingly.

need to book: 1) Hotel in Bourges for Friday and Sunday night (see thread fof full details) you do this yourself on the hotels web site, reserving your rooms using your own credit card and you book the room, regardless of how many of you are staying there. (this part of the trip can be canceled right up to the day of arrival).

2) Hotel for Saturday night. For this one you need to download the form from the thread, print out and fill in and send to me along with the payment. This hotel is priced PER PERSON even if sharing the room and the price does include evening meal and breakfast. (once paid, this cannot be cancelled after May 20th)

3) Book the mas du clos track day itself, use either the track day form (if you want to take part on track) or the static/attendence only form (if not wanting to take part on track) both of which are downladable from the thread. again send payment and the form to me. (once paid, this cannot be cancelled after May 20th)

4) Book the eurotunnel crossing (or crossing of your choice) look at the first post in this thread to see which ones we have booked. Obviously, it would be best if we all went for the same crossing but chose whatever works out best for you. Allow 5 hours for the drive to Bourges at best. (see Eurotunnel website for cancelation details, in general the cheaper the ticket the less flexible it is)

That leaves our hotel for Monday night, TBA (it will be a cheap one!) probably in Le mans. I have waited on this one until we know exactly how many of us are coming back Tuesday. and the World Series ticket or registration for Saturday, again tba and waiting the hear about that one, it should only be a matter of a form to fill in and the tickets are free for the event itself.

Although the organisers are not giving full details. Even those attending using the static form will be able to take part in a track parade, photoshoot and recieve a "special gift" (dont ask, I dont know!).

Just to say : we understand that for you (particpants from uk) this will be a loooong trip and cost some money.... and we are really grateful and enthusiast for those who will make that trip [smilie=icon_cheers.gif] [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

But i can guarantee you that this week end will be fantastic.... even though you choose the static form, as Mark says, there will be some extras on the track and off the track :approve:

For example, on the last events, we welcomed on our track days, many personnalities from history of Renault Sport : Jean Ragnotti, Alain Serpaggi, Axel Breun (The Designer of the Clio V6), Erik Comas, etc........

Just for the pleasure the final photoshoot on our previous main events :

Vincent you have just totally whetted my appetite for this event! Stunning pics! I have been so confused over what to book as I have the Bourges Hotel booked. Crossing-wise prefer ferry (the open air on the channel love it) but takes too long so will book Eurostar with the rest of you guys. Going to the UEFA cup final so will take the ferry then to make up for it! Only issue I have is who is coming with me cos my twins passport has expired so its the main reason why I havent booked the Eurostar yet. I hope he can sort it out in time. Thanks for the update Mark on what we need to do. Mark the bourges hotel do we cancel the sat night with them on the fri night we get there? and obviously keep the sunday night booking?

Awsome pics Vincent..!

Thank you for your sharing them with us here, and your words of incouragement !! [smilie=icon_cheers.gif] :race:

Dispite my name and Oldskoolbaby's STILL not being on the actual list yet.. (My fault) We'll be taking the Euro Tunnel, staying in Bourges on the Friday, at the other place with the v6passion crew on the Saturday, and then back to Bourges for the Sunday evening.

Whatever, dont cancel that hotel before making sure I have recieved your form and payment for the other hotel first. I will then confirm that with v6passion that you have a room available.
There is nothing to stop you cancelling on the day, but I would adjust your booking sooner if only as a matter of courtesy to the hotel who would be loosing a load of Saturday night bookings at short notice, although their cancelation policy does allow for that so its not a problem. The other reason may be is that the reception at these hotels are not always manned with automatic check in for late/early arrivals and it may be unclear, given the language and stuff, how to do this at the time.
There is a "alter your reservation" feature on their website which allowed me to cancel Saturday and Sunday. I then re booked the Sunday night on line. There is a phone number where maybe you would be able to just cancel the Saturday and keep the Sunday-it may be worth a shot.
Long and short of it is, yes, you can cancel when we arrive on Friday.

Awesome photo's this is going to be mad :race:

Thanks for all the hard work Mark it is very appreciated as it's looking a nightmare to organize.

My cheque's and form's for the Saturday hotel and track day are on the way Mark :approve:

Hi Mark I havent got a cheque book (long story - dodgy eastern europeans fraud thing grabbing new cheque books in the post office sorting offices - dont ask!) and paypal I stopped cos my ebay account got hacked into which was linked to my paypal, so how can I sort out payment to you?
