Thanks for a great day stephen, pity about franklyns car getting banned on the first run and his mate in the fiat with the brake pipe letting go and had no brakes on the first warm up run down the 2 mile straight [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
Was good to push the car to the limit in the dry and wet later in the afternoon had no idea how much grip the vee has in the dry i could not get it sliding at all !
Although in the wet its different story had a few little sidewards moments which i was able to catch and a big one i could n't which ending in 2 complete 360 spins but it was all good fun :approve:

Thanks for the 2 laps in the spider was really good quite fancy a spider now [smilie=doubt.gif]

ooh.... that spider sounds good, I really miss it! shame about the poor driving standard though :race:
Nice vid Dave, how did you end up on the grass?

pushing it quite hard round last bend (the end we do the runs from) tried a Scandinavian Flick to get it sliding but over cooked it, 50 mph on wet grass while spinning is abit worrying but everything ok,learnt alot about my car from to day and thats what i wanted.
The vmax running is very additive and the end of the run way looks a lot closer than it is because of the heat haze causing me to keep backing off sooner than needed, got 145mph on my car speedo but gps speed was 139mph defo could have got it above 140mph with ease.

look forward to another :approve:

It looked like good fun and I know David you wanted to learn the limits of the car and how to drive it properly. What were your times on the 0-60 etc? I would also love to go to the next time so keep us informed Stephen. Thanks mate.
