5 GT Turbo raider project

Hello everyone,
Right so here i go, i have been out of the gt turbo seen for over 12 years,
i bought my raider back in June, this year, been honest i was never going to be able to afford a clean "turn the key" raider,
so this fits the bill,
i have a nice bit of bodywork/ car painting experience, so to be honest i like a project,
the raider is in a sad state, some might say its too much work, but i'm determined,
i have for the last few months looked everywhere for bits but all i can see is very expensive bits on eBay,
ill post up a few pics, and you can give me your feelings on it,
on the plus side the chassis and body are very good,

Im going to try and not drag this project for years, i have in my head April 2019 to be..don't laugh.. "show ready" That's roughly 18 months,

Im in the process of building a garage, but also trying to finish my newly built house, and we have 5 month old twins,, so ya i'm been very optimistic.!

kind regards.
Jonathan k.

I forgot to mention, i hope to get it back to as close to original as possible,
The sunroof i have decided to keep, its not factory, but still a Renault showroom extra, a nice nod to 80/90's nostalgia.

I have tried with no success to remove the "lovely blue paint" from the interior plastics, they seem to have been primed with a plastic primer, so every bit of the interior plastics ill have to find.

regards
Jonathan.

Any updates ?
not much happening unfortunately,
my garage build has ground to a halt because of the time of year,
bought a nearly new steering wheel, so thats good,

getting some interior plastics and engine bits next week of a rob (turbo ted),
and raider front seats, which are in poor condition, but there better than nothing,

regards
jonathan

mini update..

bought another 5, initially for parts for the raider as is has nearly all of what i need,
but on closer inspection i might bring this one back to life too, its originally a tungsten grey, but now, its Porsche green, the engine bay or interior wasn't painted so thats good, has very little rust,
