R5 Gordini on Ebay Monday 11 June 2012

Hi Folks!

Just having a browse on Ebay and I see that an R5 Gordini has been listed today in the classic car section, wonder if its a forum member as they have clearly done a lot of work on this car and have cared for it.

Hi - sorry to disappoint, but there's nothing "Gordini" about this car - it's a standard, 1108cc GTL. It looks like the vendor has put Gordini in the title to get some more interest/hits in search results!

Not the best kind of behaviour as it's misleading...

Having said that it appears to be quite a nice example. GTLs are very rare now - very few left. The Soleil wheels are also rare. Some welding has been done to the inner wings under the bonnet - looks ok. I hope someone picks it up and enjoys it!
