Alpine R5 Alpine/Gordini Turbo exhaust manifold to turbo gaskets

Anyone know the part number for this gasket? I found a historic thread on the subject, but no firm answers there

My first post, so apologies if it's in the wrong area!

Thanks Mark

Meca don't have it listed, but no harm in sending them an email I guess. Funnily enough, there was only one on my car when I took the turbo off to send for rebuild, yet the other pipe didn't appear to be leaking at all. If all else fails, it's not a difficult shape to cut out of a sheet I suppose

I was looking for some of these a few weeks ago. It seems you can't get them unless part of a full head gasket set. I tried running without - horrible, horrible blow. I also tried inferior materials and gaskets without the fire ring. They didn't last long.

when the turbo came off there was just the one gasket fitted, but the joint wasn't blowing before. Seems an expensive way to go if you have to buy the whole head set, but if that's what it takes ...

Hi, what about this, it states it is for the Alpine, but not turbo, assume y6ou need the turbo version?....

That certainly looks like it. Looking at these pics of a N/A engine though it looks like the manifold is the same on both N/A & turbo engines

Anyone know if that is the case? Can't find any illustration of N/A in Official Renault workshop manual. Maybe I can cross reference the part numbers quoted on your link Mark

Great spot Mark, that link to eBay Germany provided a couple of part numbers to cross reference and my local Andrew Page branch ordered it in for collection today. Their catalogue number is CEG510 branded as Autogem, price £2.32 + VAT each
Also listed as Klarius 410669; Bosal 256525; Walker 81013; and Chevrolet 96.395.470 -
the same part is used somewhere on a Chevrolet Matiz!

Hope this info will be useful for others and many thanks to all of you for your input

Cheers

Rob
