Megane R26 coil pack order please?? Rough idle & engine vibration after spark plug change

Hi all,
Please can anyone confirm the coil pack order on the Megane R26? I had my spark plugs changed last week but I'm not sure the mechanic took notice of the order of the coil pack. The car is now vibrating like mad and I can feel it through all the pedals, even when idle. The higher the revs, the more vibration I seem to get.

The problem has just started since I had the work done,....the car was fine before.

I don't really understand the numbering system which is commonly used e.g. 3 4 2 1 etc. So I might need a dummy explanation

If I upload a photo of the coils on my engine could you guys confirm if any of them are in the wrong place?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jp

So looking down from above I see the gearbox. I know the sensor has two bolts to hold it on but can't see it. Is it tucked away to the left under the engine as I look downwards on it? I see something which is a similar shape to the TDC sensor but it's further back, higher up and has a hose attached to it! Cleaned the throttle body. Broke one side of the clip on the pipe which sits on top of it, but it has a seal anyway and I made a bracket to make sure it stays in, but I'm now getting a very weird noise after revving the engine. When the revs are falling back down there's an odd sound around 2,000 revs

Think I broke something.

This car is not ageing well at all

Seriously. Try to fix things myself to save some cash and something else crops up. To be fair it's like 10 years old, and it's a Renault. If I had cash I'd buy and sell one every 3 years. God knows how you guys keep those Renault 5's going. The one advertised on eBay last week is amazing..... Fancy swapping for the R26 lol. Respect! Ideally I want to take it to a Meg specialist and get it all sorted in one day. Can anyone vouch for birchdown in malpas, Cheshire? I know they are Clio specialists but they must know their stud on the megs with all their Renault experience?

Where about in Lancs are you ?

You will get there. If it helps my Tech Director had an ongoing fueling and rough running problem on his Merc E class, main dealer took him for a grand and 6 weeks of playing with it to eventually discover he had a worn thermostat.

Isn't the R26 TDC the one held on with a single bolt?

Also on my Porsche 944 race car, I DNF'ed 2 race weekends then the following year the engine cut out twice on trackdays. The last event was the giveaway as luckily a mate of mine was there who is one of the countries top Porsche engine builders, he spotted that my speedo neddle was not bouncing when trying to restart the car which meant there was no signal from the crank angle sensor. Don't know how many cars give that sort of characteristic to the ignition but sometimes its just seeing or noticing that one little thing that finally gives it away what the problem is. My god I had so many problems with that car, DNF my first 3 races due to mechanical failure then when we got it all working I had a string of blown front struts followed by a crash at Brands Hatch that put me out of the 2012 Porsche Club championship on the first round. Ever since though the car has been utterly bulletproof just lost the desire to actually race it the past 3 years. Just need to keep going and you will get there.

Well mine seems to have improved enough now that CLiP shows no faults and ogling the raw values with Paul Whittaker @ Tech-1 on the various things it reports didn't seem to show anything unusual either. A bit flummoxed by this, it seems either I had a tank of duff fuel or that bottle of Forte injector cleaner really did do the job or perhaps a combination of both. Still has a slight hiccup every few seconds at idle either cold or hot but the car seems happy with this. New torque link has tightened up the driveline a fair bit as well which is nice.
