Megane R26 coil pack order please?? Rough idle & engine vibration after spark plug change

Hi all,
Please can anyone confirm the coil pack order on the Megane R26? I had my spark plugs changed last week but I'm not sure the mechanic took notice of the order of the coil pack. The car is now vibrating like mad and I can feel it through all the pedals, even when idle. The higher the revs, the more vibration I seem to get.

The problem has just started since I had the work done,....the car was fine before.

I don't really understand the numbering system which is commonly used e.g. 3 4 2 1 etc. So I might need a dummy explanation

If I upload a photo of the coils on my engine could you guys confirm if any of them are in the wrong place?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jp

I have got similar issues, car drives fine but is spluttering like mad at idle when hot and pretty much is always going into fast idle when started from cold now (i.e. almost stalls then decides to pick up revs to over 1k). I have run a bottle of Forte specialist injector cleaner through which seems to have improved the running on power and part throttle driving, the annoying buzz through the car at 2.1k rpm seems to have gone which is nice, however the idle just seems to be getting worse. Annoying thing is the car sailed through the MoT with perfect looking emissions only a few weeks back and still goes like stink so the garage didn't pick up on anything (no lights on dash either) even though it was spluttering at idle when I got her back. Its got me thinking I have a dying injector as surely duff ignition would have resulted in poor idle emissions.

I checked my error codes this morning, and I have a misfire code p0300. I had a look round online and basically it means it could be any of the following:

Faulty spark plugs or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor (s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
Faulty camshaft position sensor
Solenoid valve
Depahser pulley

That would be pretty expensive to replace all those !!! Is there a more detailed diagnostic that can narrow it down to something more specific? I just used my ODB reader to get the fault code.

Why didn't you get them cleaned?

I've got the cough on idle, but as you've said still goes like stink and it doesn't idle all that bad at the moment so I'm not worrying for now, I will be getting them cleaned at some point, just curious as to why you went straight for new?

No one local to me seemed to want to clean them for me. Said they've had poor results, which is bull crap. Loads of people have had them done. So I thought sod you I'll get new ones. And they said they all post them off to get them cleaned as they don't have the machine themselves. I'll just change them myself now using the guide on here. No programming needed means I can do it.

Injectors changed. Didn't need to unplug the 2 inputs in front of the boost pipe (the ones with the press buttons - mainly because I couldn't !). If you have the right tools you can do it without taking these out. Also didn't move the boost pipe. No exhaust cough so far. Car idle seems better but not as good as I expected. Still seems to drop revs slightly and the vibration is still there a little. Although it's an 07 plate so can't be perfect. It usually goes sideways in hot weather so I guess I just need to wait for a hot day to test it out!

TDC sensor clean tomorrow morning.

Where's the throttle body guys? Appointment with mechanic cancelled today so have to wait again for TDC clean. Is it the top dog bone mount that might need replacing? I'm still getting the vibration. Aren't those mounts like £200 ?

Also the top mount is on far left of engine bay, its the one with a curved black painted metal top part. Mine had dropped significantly, I could easily get my fingers in between the curved metal top and the mounting underneath. Just behind it between the engine and the firewall is the top torque link.

In my case the engine has been getting worse in terms of idle spluttering its just with the new top mount I barely notice it from within the car. Same in terms of noise, makes the car surprisingly refined for cross country driving.
