Hello,
I'm new this forum. I've rebuilt an 83 Gordini turbo except for the engine. Its taken 2 years to just get it to a rolling shell and i still aint found any new rear bushes.
Anyways, I was hoping you guys could guide me as to the best direction in term of the eninge build. I'm trying to achieve a good deal of power but reliability is as important; repeatable hoofage.
I'm inexperienced in the area and have only read a few threads in this forum, but I percieve my options to be:
1) Use standard engine and renew (liners, rings etc. everything) with only standard gordinios part... about 120bhp? carbed
2) Use standard engine and uprate with forged pistons, hot cam, exhaust, renew all other parts as standard. carbed.
3) Go the intercooler route with injection? fancy pistons and jazz cam etc. Mod manifold?
4) I'm sure there are loads of suggestions but you guys will have been there, done that and thats the info I'm really after.
Thanks in advance chaps
Pete
