Colin, mine is LOUD. Peter was in shock when I spoke to him earlier after he had it on. His reaction was "err, its loud". OMG spec is going to sound like a Group B.
ok i'll take your word for it..its just that i already have a backbox that looks like the original k-tec on mine...so..its not standard...ive never heard a standard v6 exhaust so...hmmm...
IMO around town and showing off the OMG version would RULE! :twisted:
BUT on the motorway the OMG could really piss you off. It WOULD definately piss me off! :roll:

I am in Reading and happy to go our for a spin with anyone so they can hear it first hand. You NEED to hear one first hand. Microphones do NOT do it justice.
Well, most of my travelling involves going around town, so good for me then. Don't commute on a motorway so not too bothered. Will probably end up getting better fuel consumption on motorway when I do go on it though as I might have to drive slower to get it to go quieter. :lol:
Must admit though, I'm now a little wary of how loud it will be, but of course, well excited!
Where abouts are you then Acid? That's three V6s within a few miles of each other!
Don't think those that have ordered the OMG should be worried by it. I can't imagine anyone who went for that option was in any doubt what they were after – and going by the standard Quicksilver system it is going to be even better than expected. If all I used mine for was Tunnel Running then that is what I would have gone for.
Scott at SG motorsport said to give it a bit of time to bed in before thrashing the car as it would become even louder otherwise (at least I think that is what he said?). I drove mine back to London hitting 140 in places and to be honest it did seem louder by the end of the journey
Peter - can QS quieten the standard system you and Ant have a little more? I'm not keen on having something that's boomy in the cabin at speed as I do a fair few long m/way journeys.
