Gonna be putting my name down for this now.

Will order mine on monday, unless there open tomorrow, probably fit it myself tho,

Can it be fitted without the bumper being removed?

Are you all gonna get yours fitted by quicksilver?

Dennis

You can fit a new standard back box without removing the bumper. It depends on the size and shape of the new one. As this is substantially smaller than the standard one i'd hazard a guess it will be ok.

FYI Quicksilver do not offer fitting.

Peter :D

Looks like this one has the QS one as well:

My Alpine trip in June is going to be so much more fun now. I'm busy trying to get the route sorted out this weekend and looking at what roads to take. Just read this:

Aprica Pass 1176 m
In Tresenda, between Sondrio and Tirano, you leave the main road SS 38 into the direction of Aprica. A short and narrow tunnel without lighting starts the uphill. On the way up to the pass you will go through some very small little villages with a few houses only. The average gradient is - between Tresenda and the Pass - 6,1 %, but the road is continously altering from steep stretches to less severe ones on a total lenght of 13 km. Two kilometres before the peak the maximum gradient of almost 10 % is being reached on some stretches.

During the whole uphill, if by car, by motobike or by bike, you will have a wonderful view of the Valtellina and the surrounding mountains all the way up to the pass.

I can almost hear it.

Call James at Quicksilver (01428 68772).

Tell him your part of the Clio V6 group buy and he'll send another one through to join the pipes already being made. And give you the 30% discount Peter negotiated :D

Ill just give the fitting ago myself then,

If anybody comes across any problems when fitting theres please letme know, last thing I wanna do is get halfway through it and have a prob.

Its gonna be a long 2 weeks

I believe Peter is getting Scott @ S G Motorsport near Chippenham (SN15 4HW) - £45 for an hour's labour. Perhaps worth organising a day to all go up there and get them fitted?

Is there a further price reduction for 10 orders?

I think we need to contact him before arranging for a load of us to go down there! He's a busy man.

Must be a piss easy job. I'm going down to the place that did my tyres in Bermondsey. One of those under-the-arches places – they love my car in there.

I have also considerd sg to fit it my self bit of a trek for me but if others wanna meet up together then could consider the trek.

my brother who is a car mechanic has looked at the fixtures that hold the box on and says that they are of good quality and in all should be a fairley easy job to do . :D

Who is everyone with insurance-wise? Are you all declaring the exhaust and if so, how much extra will it cost you?

Hello, is that the insurance company? Yes, I have a change to my policy; my old stainless steel exhaust was buggered on my daft mid-engined hatch back so I have replaced it with a stainless steel exhaust.
