hi was going to order first thing in the morning but as i posted just now, got a speeding fine notice through the post.. caught doing 73 in a 50... never been done before and so pissed off as dont know what caught me, was not police or speed camera....

so not sure about the exhaust now might have need to money for a big fine and higher insurance next month...

any idea's guys...

Hard luck. Should be just 3pts and a £60 fine. That's part of life now for anybody on the road – if you have a clean licence it is nothing to do with being a good driver, you're just lucky.

If your licence is clean then 3pts should not make any difference to your insurance.

Even if they take you to court as long as its not dangerous driving (and from the scenario it doesn't sound like it), you'll get a fine and points. As others have said its part of life these days don't blame yourself. Its pure bad luck. 99% of drivers routinely speed just some are lucky.... as you have been untill now.

I understand if you drop out but another way to look at it is this will cheer you back up and now you'll not need to speed. You'll be cruising with the windows down.

I have orderd my back box from quicksilver and cant wait for it james said it will be about two weeks

I also asked him as if there were any power gains by fitting the exhaust and he said there could be a power gain of up to 5-8 bhp
depending on which model but this has not been proved on a rolling road but sounds good to me

just like to say a big thanks to peter if i should meet you at a show
or something then will buy ya a drink

So pleased about this, Peter. We are getting arguably the best box there is for our Vees for a really good saving on the £900 they should be. They sound great and give a decent amount of extra go.

Wonder if the same guy is making all four?

Probably the same guy will be making them all. It would make sense to make them in one batch.
