lol, thanks for the comments.

Karlos, the sound is very similar to what you hear there, but just more intense. Personally I like the feeling of the exhaust note in the car, but then I don't use it daily (or with the windows up!).

Tony, I had a decat on my mk1 V6 and it didn't make a massive difference but took Pro-speed an entire day to do - so although I'm curious to see what it would be like the on mk2, I probably won't. Wouldn't mind losing the collector box though, I reckon an unbalanced noise from the pipes would sound even rawer

I went food shopping earlier (wow, how interesting)....which took me into the multi-story car park - jeeeezz how loud was it! Allowed it to burble nicely and everyone was looking (in a good way you understand  ).

It is not as loud as the Elise. My one had the Bell and Colvill stainless steel system and a de-cat pipe on it and it was far louder than the Vee is with the Quicksilver. But the Quicksilver is still a very loud set-up.

Like some have mentioned, it is a bit boomy in the cabin when the engine is under load at certain speeds but overall it is not too bad – there is no way I'd want mine to be like it was with the standard system as the car always seemed like it was missing something vocally.

Was out on one of the London Tunnel Runs last night and it still was struggling against the noise of the TVRs but certainly not quiet and was audible enough to create enough of a racket.

If we were talking about 'volume' comparison between the two I would say a TVR was turned fully up to 20, the Elise (with the exhaust and de-cat) 16, the Vee (with the standard QS) 14 and a standard Vee 6.
