Dunno. Scott (SG Motorsport) has them in stock tho.

Maybe someone with the Renault tech info CD's can help. Its the clamp on the adjustable end of the outlet from the collector box.

Don't know but I needed one, and a new exhaust rubber. Might be worth seeing who has them in stock?

QS updated that all orders will be progressed as per the list with 3 extra loud back boxes (Poundrick, Takeshi, & Susie).

Delivery for all expected by the end of next week (except Tom).

I'd be grateful to know from the first few trialists whether stainless steel heat rings for the circular exits are important.

ps I ordered lilly-livered "standard" livery.

Has anyone fitted a new backbox themselves? Is it just a case of removing the plastic undertray and undoing some clamps?

you do not need to touch the plastic undertray,changing the box is a straight forward enough task,if you can take the old one off,you will be capable of putting the new one back on. just watch the bumper holes were the exhaust comes out through ,use masking tape here or you can scrape the bumper.if someone can give you a hand to hold the weight it would make it a lot easier ,but i have done it on my own using a trolly jack to support the box. make sure the car is on axle stands or similar as the handbrake and the gears only lock the rear wheels and they will be off the ground.
an exhaust paste is good for the joints to ensure a good seal,this is easily available from halfords etc. the exhaust clamps are very sturdy, i just had to change the bolts on mine.

Peter, the guy I spoke to (James was out) said he wasn't 100% sure on the delivery date - when you next speak to QS could you doublecheck my delivery date is 16 June as with the others, and that they can confirm it's the loud version. Cheers bud.
