I just swapped my engine with a E7J and everything went smooth. However when I try to start it. It starts and I get a 1 shot of fuel from the injector and then it stops "engine stops" any thought or ideas...I really wanna get it running.
I had my doubts about the Immobilizer but the car does start, so I really don't think its the cause. About the fuel pump...it doesn't fail because its directly powered from the battery not via a relay. So it stays on but the injector fails.
So you think its your injector rail not working... I don't really know my electrics to be honest so can't help you there i'm afraid sorry.
If you just want to hear it running to see if the engine isn't knackered you can get a spray bottle and fill it full of petrol, open the throttlebody and spray it in whilst you get someone to turn the key, the engine will run if you keep spraying. Done that a few times to make sure an engine working.
e7j engine would be the single point, in the past i have had a lot of issues with them as have some others on here, it should be easy enough to source another one for cheap to rule it out
On the key on engine off stage of ignition all the plugs fire and the injector goes as well as a system check, so it will start up for a split second then won't run.
