Hi all just to introduce myself quickly i have owned 3 gordini turbo's in the past, one being a le car turbo and my friend had a non turbo gordini (a good 15 years ago now).
I am an avid user of the volvo forums as i am a collector of t5r's / 850r's and drive a 350 bhp s60r as a daily driver, as well as having a Bx16v sitting on my drive.
Any how beating about the bush a little, i am very into saving 1980's cars that will just end up scrapped (i.e the bx)
I may possibly be able to put one of you in touch with a lost and forgotten gordini turbo. About 10 years ago i used to know a chap (when i had mine) who was heavily into his renault turbo's. I remember him having such as 18 turbo and gordini turbos.
Now for many years he had a gordini turbo in his garage he was converting into a 4 stud and blow through system.
There it sat i believe from what i can remember it was orange. He certainly has bits sitting about in his garage.
Definately worth following up on, being such a long time since seeing him last i have changed mobiles lost his number etc.
But when im next his way ill investigate.
Also just down the road from me is a very tidy renault 5 1.1 on a v-plate i think in red, its a daily driver 3 door so i see it about a bit.
