For sale is my beloved 21 Turbo.
I have owned 4 of these, this car I have owned for 3 years.
It is garaged over winter and never used on salty roads, and only on wet roads when I have been caug out by the weather.
It has covered 165k miles and will see many more as most parts have been replaced.
Has just passed its MOT with flying colours and is taxed till the end of September.
The MOT tester was very surprised by the condition of the car, as they are every year!
Bodywork is as you would expect for a car of this age, it is rock solid but has scratches here and there, and some small dings etc, nothing major.
Interior is in very good condition, only the drivers seat as any wear and even then it is not ripped or totally worn, all the electrics even work which is very rare on these cars!
Car has been modified, up-rated turbo, full stainless exhaust from turbo back in cluding removal of the restrictive turbo elbow, air filter, up-rated injectors, some silicone boost hoses, dump valve, up-rated brake discs and pads all round. Also recon gearbox and new clutch fitted in last 5k, fans are worked from a switch so no overheating.
Has been well serviced since I took ownership, and many parts have been changed in last 3 years, most recent things being:-
16/9/10 New front discs and EBC pads fitted, brakes bled, NSR hub changed as ABS ring rusted, gearbox oil topped up, broken exhaust bracket replaced 164,550 miles.
9/11/10 New timing belt fitted 165,228 miles.
28/4/10 Yet another oil change 165,303 miles.
Still achieves 40mpg on a long run! Embarrasses many newer cars and is a real sleeper.
I really will be sad to see her go but another project forces sale, and the wife would just not be happy at two cars sitting garaged most of the year!
