Great idea! Looks like I'll be coming on the a23/25 then meeting Paul at the garage on the a3 after wisley, could meet there?

Is this the first one you come across on the A3 (heading South) after coming off M25/J10?

I don't know tbh, paul will he lives near there I think, if we suggest thatvanywaybit would be fine as I think most of us will be passing! I need to get a ticket too! Can I get them on the day?

Jon, where do you join the M25? I get on to at Heathrow (J15) - let me know what time you expect to be passing J15 and I will get on the M25 around that time.

I believe the services (Ripely) is the first one you come across on the A3 after coming off M25/J10: LINK - "The services are sometimes known under the title Wisley".

I'll join at junction 21 so I'll be by 15 about 20mins after that. Probably be at 15 say around 8am? Will that give us enough time to be at the gravel car park meeting point at 8:20 ish?

According to Google maps Junction 15 of the M25 is a 55.8mile journey to the gravel car park at Kennel Hill near Goodwood and says that it would expect the journey to take 1hr 20mins. You might need to leave a little bit earlier, especially if the weather is cold on the 16th as the roads near Goodwood were icy in places last year.

1hr 20 to do 55 miles? We walking?? Lol

But yes it looks like i will need to be at 15 around 7:30.

The Goodwood Circuit is about 60 miles from Heathrow, and according to the AA website it will take around 1hr 45 min to get there. The roads can be tricky, especially under icy conditions.

As such, if we are to meet with Sam and Paul (and anybody else) at the Ripley/Wisely services and also stop off at the second meeting point (gravel car park at Kennel Hill) then we may need to leave a bit earlier. However, if we do not stop over at the gravel car park then 7:30 at J15/M25 will do. Do we know who we are meeting at the gravel car park?

Anyway, on the day drop me a text 15 mins before you are due to get to J15/M25 and I will join. PM'ed my mobile number.

Well I have got the weekend off that week so I can attend, I will probably stop off in the gravel car park if time allows, I don't know if I will be in the v6 or 172 Cup though. If you don't have time to stop at Kennel Hill then I shall more than likely see you all inside the event.

Are you guys still planning on this? I know the weather is meant to be abysmal! why does it ALWAYS rain when these events happen!

Supposed to be mild but wet. Do those of you who were there last year know whether there will be any shelter to take cover in case it rains hard?

Not really. There's the garages in the pit area which are all under cover (they will be full of cars) but other than that it's wear a mac.

I'll be relying on 4 wheel drive, heated leather seats and a brolly.

Dylan and I are convoying down with an aim to meet some others at the services. We can then proceed to the car park and finally on to the circuit. Thoroughly looking forward to it. :)

Haha. Sorry Dulan. Dylan is one of the guys I've been working with this week!! Bloody similar names. Lol

Will text you Sunday when I've left.
