PH SUNDAY SERVICE: 16/12/12 - Goodwood Motor Circuit

Cracking turn out today guys. Good to see some familiar faces and also meet a couple of new ones in Paul and Will.

Fantastic to see so many vees in attendance as well, especially during Winter. Also nice to finally see a whole heap of ph1s. :approve:

That was the best Sunday Service I've been to. The pit lane/paddock set-up worked a treat and meant that all the cars were in close proximity to one another so you could see everything that had turned up. As per usual, there was a real variety of metal. Even the blue skies showed up! Until the next one!

Dulan/Paul, apologies for the sat nav balls-up. Felt like we were green laneing at one point. Lol.

Good to meet you and Dulan too ,had a great day ,really good turn out and decent weather for a change .dont worry about the journey there ,as I said sat navs don't have a clue how to get there anyway .i got completely lost going home as well ,so just goes to show you none us know where we're going .look forward to the next one :approve:

Great to meet up today guys. Excellent selection of cars, and the weather held. Result!

Could have kicked myself for forgetting the camera.

Jon, don't beat yourself up about the slight detour. I quit enjoyed the "almost off-road" experience en route to Goodwood. Good fun. :-)

Until next time..............

From the Circuit's website it looks like there is public parking, but I imagine that's what will be being used by PH on the day (maybe, I don't really know!). Sure you could leave the cars somewhere safe close-by and either walk-in or grab a lift with one of us.

Maybe have a quick check of the related topic running on PH for guidance CLICKY

Here you go mate :) Towards the bottom of the previous page.

Saw your car in a few photos :approve:

Prize for most photographed V6 definitely goes to Will. I've found 4 different ones of his.

Sam, no worries was good to meet you. I've found a decent photo of the back of yours with us all chatting in the background :) PM me your email and I'll flick you a copy.

lol I found it too! I thought I saw someone taking photos, I just thought it was the paps following me again....... Wills was extremely clean! great day too, Also ben what exhaust does your vee have? it sounds awesome!

You know what, I've never heard my own Vee from outside..but it sounds pretty decent inside too.

I've got the awesome Spike-Developed Ph2 Janspeed System. It consists of new backbox and replacement collector pipe without the secondary CATs. Can't praise it enough, they do have a Ph1 system too but that was developed by them so not sure of its performance/noise compared to Spike's system.

Ok mate nice one, thanks! great day I thought, stupidly lucky with the weather, clear blue skys, enough time to get back and wash the car, then is PI%$ed down all day!!!

I know, I was going to give mine a quick going over with a Quick Detailer to get rid of the splashes but then the heavens opened and it all just ran off anyway in the deluge.

Anyway, now us Sussexers know we all get on we should arrange some more get togethers over the winter. :)

Hi chaps,

Great to meet everyone yesterday, was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and great to see a good turn out of Vee's!

Always good to put a face to a name, so i think a few regular meets are in order.

Ben - your exhaust sounds incredible. When pulling out of Goodwood all i could hear were "pops and rasp" as your planted your right foot! massive want. Oh and i have ordered the thermostat so with any luck the second will be the day to fix (i will also buy you food this time!).

Sam - enjoyed the blip home, other than the MASSIVE puddle we went through where i actually thought the water may come through the door sills lol [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Your doing better than me I can only find the one of mine :). Nice meeting new and old faces alike, I am pretty sure I got at least 1 picture of every v6 there so I will try and upload my pictures soon.
Hope I didn't hold you up on the way home Dulan.

Yeh sorry will I thought it was your car in the garage but realised it was the other one with 'trophy' spoiler and black 5 spokes.

Was gonna say Ben. Paul-O's is plastered everywhere but I could only see one of Will's.

Oh and Will; HOW's THE HEARING? ;) :race: :approve:
