The only things i have are the adapter boards and the bullet connectors.

If you want a complete cable i could source the bits individually for you but the price would be higher than the original cables where i was able to get a discount for bulk orders

Hi, not that i'm aware of but the software may show different options depending on what car its connected to

Chet: Will this cable works with the XR25 pc software ? I´ve got an renault 25 TXI 1991 and Renault 21 TXE inyection 1991.
Do i need anything else to set up the scanner ?

I have no plans to do another batch of cables, they're quite time intensive and i haven't enough free time

There are bullet connectors available that will allow you to connect to the diag port or you can get the proper connector by buying an OBDII adapter on ebay and taking it apart

chet. if i´ll buy you all the parts could you do some tutorial for me so i can do my own cable ? my car has the 12 pin obd renault plug.Can i do one just like you did ? I mean so pretty fine like yours ? I´ve have some soldering skills.

i´m starting to understand...I will need also an adaptor to usb...Here i can´t find any FTDI but i can get some compatibles like this:

those uses Chipset Silabs CP2102

if i can use any of them, i´m buying one of yours adapters right now. thanks

I'm not sure of that'll work. I don't see why it wouldn't but it may not be recognised by the software

As far as I know the abs computer is connected via a different pin in the connector (if at all) so I don't think so

I had issues when trying to use a CP2102 chipset 12months ago, they are a swine to adjust the baud rates to non standard settings.

FWIW, I'd go all out to get an FTDI adapter so you can use the drivers Chet has posted and know that someone else (well, lots of people else) has this setup working.

well chet in my renault 25 there´s no other pin, i´ve got the schematics, and in the renault 21 the abs has another 12 pin connector .So do you think that you can send me your adaptor plus the FTDI usb TLL cable adaptor Plus 2 pins ?
