oil leak....

Two things to look for, is there oil inside the dizzy cap? yes and its a new dizzy, no? make sure the o ring that seals the dizzy in the head is the correct size!
Remember all the probs phil had with oil leaking around the back of the head? and after a couple of dizzy seals was told to do the head gasket! Guess what, after doing the head it was still leaking and it was the dizzy seal, he just didn't have the correct size one!

be sirious guy's, i'll read lots off times : leaking headgasket...

If its pissing out the hg like that then the car will not run for another 10 minutes. Ive seen hg's sweat but never leak his tits off. In Jon's case, the car didnt lose any power so impossible that there is something wrong with the hg.

Just my 2 cents.

It's not the head gasket.........runs sweet as a nut - never looses water/oil....pulls like a train.....

I'm going to run with the sponge in place for now & maybe order a new distributor unit before heading to the Alps in June.....

The car is NOT for sale at the moment.....LOL....not now that i've replaced the turbo & manifold....

Really? On the other side of that i've seen them run for months with serious leaks. Roger Hewitt's Ph3 used to leave an oil drip trail down the road it was that bad!

My ph1 was pouring oil down the side of the block when the hg gave up on the side of the oil gallery! Still ran perfectly.
