No Bling, 10 Years, Organising A Big Trip?

Has anyone picked a date yet??

I'll need to get in early with my request you see.... As I'm the only one that can do my job in our place
Looks like September is the favourite month by all... so let's go with September 2017... Now which weekend?

I've amended the poll at the beginning of this thread, can you all please vote to see which date is preferred??

If you wanted to tie it in with a GP, Monza is the first weekend of September on the provisional 2017 F1 calendar, and Spa is the weekend before (bank holiday) but that's going back into August though.

I'll go with the majority.

May struggle with the last weekend of the month as its Mich's birthday weekend but I suppose I could extend the weekend further and loiter in Germany for a couple of days to soften the news of a potential track based Euro trek (y)

Is the Nords actually open all/any of those weekends in September?
Based on the 2016 Calendar, the first weekend in September might only be open on the Sunday, but successive weekends seem to be open longer..?

I thought last night, the first weekend in September is going to be the end of the kids holidays, so probably the 2nd or 3rd weekend in September would suit better?

Yep, it's what I was alluding to.

In previous years, they've released the first half of the following year's calendar (showing the TF days) around November/December time, with the 2nd half released around March.

You're taking a punt if you book anything now/before that...

Well let's just plan provisional and book it in march then. Easy.
I agree... the earlier we all get it in the diary, then we can all start to save/plan for it. We know there's always a LOAD of people who drop out, the closer you get to the event, but if we plan early now then hopefully we can make sure it's a big event to remember..

BTW I've heard back from the hotel as follows:

We can offer you:

- 7 double-rooms (2 persons per room) with shower and toilet for €72 per night and room.

  • Steve & Millie
  • Mart & Bekki
  • Dave Lankey Flea Bag Sibley & Blow up Doll
  • Chris Smith & Squeeze
  • Spooky Dooks +1
  • Brigsy & Sheryl
- 3 double-rooms (2 persons per room) without shower and toilet for €60 per night and room. Shower and toilet are next door on the corridor.
- 2 single-rooms (1 person per room) without shower and toilet for €36 per night and room. Shower and toilet are next door on the corridor.
- 1 bedroom with three beds (3 persons per room) with shower and toilet for €108 per night and room.

  • Moggy, Naomi and Mini Mog's
The price is incl. breakfast.
And the rooms need to be prepaid on our bank account.
