5 GT Turbo My red Renault 5 gt turbo project

First thing is id like to say a big hello to everyone looking forward to the knowledge of others to help me out with saving one of these rare an iconic cars.

I bought her about 6 months ago she was in a container for 2 year before i got her. Heres when i got the car own

First thing to go was the bonnet so travelled from Yorkshire to Birmingham for this one the Ali G one is free if anybody wants it

Few week after i purchased her i got the car booked in for a lot of work doing, head gasket/rocker cover fuel/oil filter coolant bottle an fresh coolant an engine oil tappets got done grooved discs an pads all round with hel braided hoses 2 drive shafts alternator and belt water pump an starter motor changed lobster plenum strut brace ram air induction kit dizzy cap leads plugs all brandnew parts

Luckily Overboost is only 30 minutes away from me so called in for a chat about going down the E.F.I route. Id love to keep the origanal engine but i do like the idea of a turbo k20 engine swap i really dont know what road to go down

Thanks mate shes only done 89000 miles, i had an ep3 years ago so i know how good the engines are when looked after.

Just putting it all back together over the next week or so. Then need to run in for a few hundred miles followed by mapping. Hoping to achieve 300hp this time but I doubt mapping will be until end of Feb/early March.

Does anyone know of anyone who's put a k20 turbo in a gt turbo? Ive looked on here an the web but cant find anything apart from the pictures above any help would be appreciated.
