Its straight off of a btcc car Dulan. It could possibly benefit from a small Gurney lip on the rear edge I think. However, I’ve got my eye on a similar one off of a Ferrari 488 I work on. The diffuser is paired with some underfloor modifications and some ducting from under the bonnet and front arch wells. The side skirts also have minor mods.
Criecky Brett, how much downforce does that thing produce?! Is the Gurney flap intended to further increase downforce or reduce drag? Trust the 488 spoiler will be from a Challenge series car? Questions, questions...... :)

So, when will you get it on the road, or will it be a track-only version.......would be great if it is ready for Silverstone Classic 2020.

Time now for videos (obviously on private roads!!) for a demo of what you have created, Halloween would be a good unveiling date!! :approve:

How did you get on?
Any advisories? Any emission issues?

Has a 200 cell sports CAT which was ok for emmissions once it had some temperature in it. Fast idle test good but natural idle was a little more troublesome being that it has no air valve for idle control, i've had to use the air valve stepper motor outputs from the ECU to control the variable cam timing (AVECS). Rock steady Idle is controlled by advance/retard of ignition timing. Saved me buying a new ECU.

Advisory on front discs......? look new to me.

First driving impressions;
Gear ratios seem prety much on the money.
Too loud inside for me, may need to add some weight and put some of the interior back in.
Fuel tank over pressurised, not sure why, something to investigate today.
Clutch is just a little heavy for driving in traffic, there are lighter options but held back until I could make a decision on ratios, single or twin plate clutch, flywheel weight, LSD etc.
So for now I just need to get some more time shaking it down.

All up weight 1320Kg with 3/4 tank of fuel (40 litres ) previously weighed with 10 litres in tank.
30 litres weighs 21.82 Kg so very happy to then be below 1300 Kg :)
To save reading back, I started at 1360 Kg with the stripped out V6.
Seems to be going well too !!

Kicked up some dirt today, think I've built myself a Rallycross car :race: [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

If only I had those rear arms rustedandrotten ;)

Probably on my fourth attempt now at creating baffles to quieten things down. Spent all day last time only to reduce things by 1 decibel ! I need to get it down to track day limits without killing the power TOO much :(

I've decided on the clutch / flywheel combination i'd like to use and I'd like a Quaife diff. but it's begining to look like the cost of another car ! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
Shall I start selling the redundant V6 components ???

I think you could build another V6 Frankenstein from the components in the future. A bit like a Singer 911!
