Have left the car with him for a few days, he is taking it to work to play with the Ferrari’s and Bugatti’s, he works for http://simonfurlonger.co.uk check out some of the cars he works on... but he loves the Renaults more

Just a quick update, had a great weekend at cliosport festival 18 at Blyton, the journey up on Friday took 7 hours in the rain thanks to crap bank holiday traffic, but got the tent set up before the rain, went to the local pub for dinner.

Saturday was a good day, entered the 5 into show and shine, plenty of positive comments, learnt a few new things from Paul B .

Sunday came around all to soon, packed the tent up and headed home around 90 after some breakfast. Popped into Dale Jarvis’s house, grabbed some OE oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, front disc pads and boost hose straps (always nice to have some spares).

Home by 3pm, covered over 500 miles this weekend and the 5 didn’t miss a beat. Sorry to those who didn’t get to go out in it... always another time

After Ricardo being down last night, talking about cars etc, the urge to get the 5 out was strong.

It’s been a lovely sunny day, and I had a christening to attend in Whitstable, so I took the 5.

Lovely drive, some nice country roads on the way back, plenty of smiles etc.
Got home to give it a quick wash and dry. I didn’t bother to quick detail it or anything as it’s going into the carcoon for a few weeks... coming out for Oh so retro car show at the end of the month

Cheers Andy, I must admit, I do love it.... although when I sat in @Sheryl_O Megane (lovely car btw) at Blyton I did think I could sell the 5, buy a decent Megane and pocket the change... However I will just save up for a Megane and keep the 5

Just sitting here wondering what does everyone do with there “toy” cars over the winter?? Personally I have very little to do, any ever now and then I think about letting the 5 go and selling it.... so I am trying to avoid that, I have no need to sell it, have the room, don’t need the money... have some time to use the car.

Am I the only one who thinks about selling their toy car over the winter when it’s not in use?

Haven’t taken the 5 home yet, been out all day in it... roads are abit wet, not hooning around.... really need to get my wheels refurbed and fit new tyres
