5 GT Turbo Looking for information R5 GTT

Hi everyone,

I have recently come in to the possession of a 1990 Renault 5 GT Turbo, registration H210 UGN.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of the car? The car has a built engine but I’d like to know a little more, if it has a cam, what power is the engine good for, etc.

The previous owner was a Charlie Walkman but I didn’t purchase the car from him and I have no contact details for him and have tried the social media routes to no avail.

I have a stack of paper work from the last 30 years and have found generic paperwork for a piped cam but there is paperwork in there for item that aren’t fitted to the car anymore so I can’t be sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

back in the early 2000,’s it was owned by a guy called John Dolan from Stoke on Trent. Euro parts Motorsport did a lot of work on it back in the day

Thanks Ian, that’s really interesting to see how it did once look back in the 2000s, the current engine was built in 2020 at prima racing in Nottingham, I plan on fitting an eboost2 and turning the boost up and see what happens I also want to strip it down and check all the body but it does look pretty clean at first glance but I know the body kit could be hiding a rotten surprise.
